About the MWA

Statement

The Mt. Washington Association was formed in 1954 by residents of the Mt. Washington community of Northeast Los Angeles. Its purpose is to preserve our community's scenic beauty, encourage and promote our cultural activities, support our educational resources and act as a forum for issues of concern to our residents and the residents of our neighboring communities.
