Learn  more  about  the  SR?710  Tunnel  Technical  Study.    Tunnel  Technical  Study  staff  will  be  available  to 
answer  questions  about  the  Study.    Caltrans  and  Metro  began  the  SR?710  Tunnel  Technical  Study  to 
examine  soil  and  sub?surface  conditions  for  extending  the  SR?710  using  a  tunnel.  The  Study  involves 
research,  exploration  and  technical  analysis  of  soil  and  sub?surface  conditions  found  at  depths  of  more 
than 250 feet. The Study is being  conducted in a route neutral manner. The study area includes portions 
of Los Angeles, Pasadena, South Pasadena, Alhambra, Monterey Park, San Marino, La Cañada Flintridge 
and Glendale. 
A final report of the soil testing results will be made public by late 2009.
