As part of the Big Sunday program of volunteer projects, La Casita Verde is hosting a cleanup of the surrounding sidewalks and parking lot on the morning of May 2. The clean up area includes the walkway above Figueroa bordering LCV, the Casa de Adobe, and the apartments in our area, and the small parking lot next to the Southwest Museum Gold Line station. A play yard is available for families with small children, (but obviously one parent would need to supervise, if we are all working!). And snacks will be on hand to keep the volunteers energized.
